Abigail Perry

Researcher

  • Abigail has a BA in History from the University of Manchester, including a semester at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and an MPhil in Modern British History from the University of Cambridge (St Catharine’s College). She specialised in social and cultural history, with her research focusing on how children engaged with political content through popular culture, and the relationship between ideology, propaganda and popular culture.
  • Abigail has extensive experience in archival research, having worked with a range of visual, material and print sources. Before Revealing Reality, she worked as an interviewer on research within the social housing sector.
  • Her research interests include young people, education, media and the cultural sector, alongside housing and welfare.
